Privacy Policy

MOOV Events Inc. ("MOOV", "we") provides a live-event operations platform: event planning, team coordination, live maps, messaging, notifications, and related communications features.

This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. For any privacy question, contact support@moovevents.ai.

Account and profile: name, email address, password (handled by our authentication provider), profile photo or avatar, job title, and phone number if you add one.

Organization data: the companies, teams, events, assignments, and roles your organization configures in MOOV.

Live location: when your organization uses live-map features during an event, your device may report its location while those features are active. Location is used for event operations and is visible to your organization as configured by its administrators.

Messages and notifications: the content of messages and alerts you send or receive through the platform.

Text-messaging opt-in data: if you enable Text alerts, we store your mobile number, the exact consent language you agreed to, the time and IP address of consent, verification status, and message delivery records.

Device and usage data: push-notification tokens, device and browser type, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

Billing: payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

To operate the platform: coordinating teams, showing live maps, delivering messages and alerts, and running the features your organization has enabled.

To send communications you have opted into, including text alerts and one-time verification codes.

For billing, support, security, auditing, and to meet legal obligations.

Text alerts are strictly opt-in: you enable them yourself in the app by entering your number, agreeing to the consent language, and verifying with a one-time code. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or turning Text alerts off in Settings.

We keep your consent record (including its exact wording, timestamp, and IP) as evidence of opt-in, and we honor opt-outs everywhere in the platform.

No mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data are shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with our messaging service provider solely to deliver the messages you requested.

In-app calls connect app to app over the internet. Phone numbers are not used or revealed between participants.

We do not record call audio. We may log call metadata (who called whom, when, and for how long) to operate and secure the feature.

Service providers who process data on our behalf to run MOOV: hosting and database infrastructure, messaging and voice delivery, payment processing, map services, and email delivery. They may use the data only to provide those services to us.

Your organization: administrators and coordinators in your workspace can see the operational data the product is designed to show them (for example, your assignments, live-map position during events, and messages in shared channels).

Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of MOOV and its users.

We do not sell personal information.

We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. Consent and opt-out records for text messaging are retained as compliance evidence.

When you delete your account, associated personal data is deleted, except records we are required to keep.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and tenant isolation. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to support@moovevents.ai.

Text alerts: reply STOP to any message, or turn them off in Settings → Notifications.

Push notifications: control them from your device settings or in-app preferences.

Account: you can update your profile at any time and delete your account from the app; you may also contact support@moovevents.ai.

MOOV is a workplace tool and is not intended for individuals under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
